I've checked the plugs there it its all solid, so it must be loose either in the monitor or inside the seats where the wires are run through. I suspect something is loose somewhere around the control box. I checked w/ the dealer who installed it but they are now telling me that its out of warranty now.Īt least both sides still plays DVD's. Now the right side is unable to view what the left side is playing. I've used to be able to use OEM dvd's and DVD-R backups w/o any issues so I don't know what might be causing this besides just a defective DVD plug or connection. I've notice a few dealers in the area offering this system for their customers so hopefully someone might know the answer to this problem. I've already talked to my dealer and they said they will get a new one in, but I'm hoping there's an easier solution out there. I'll post up Rosen's response once I get it. It seems that for some unknown reason, the DVD player in the driver's side has a defective connection.Īny help would be greatly appreciated before I take it into the dealer to be replaced.

The passenger side player doesn't seem to have this problem at all. I still get the No Signal error when I turn on the unit. I have read the instructions and the reset procedure doesn't work very well. I have been using OEM Dora Halloween dvd and three difference Barbie dvd's. I usually have to wait about 5 minutes before it will eject. When I try to eject, it doesn't eject immediately and only after a few presses of the eject button. When I put a DVD in the player, it either doesn't read or tries to read it for a long time. After about 5 minutes, the Rosen screen comes up. When I turn on the system, instead of the Rosen screen that I used to get, I get a "No Signal" error. I am now having problems with the driver's side headrest. My Toyota Dealer installed the Rosen AV7500 dual headrest system in my 2011 Toyota 4Runner. I just sent this email to Rosen's Service Department. Hopefully this thread will get enough hits so the info can get out there.

Since this unit seems to be very new, there has been almost no posted problems section via Google search. I made a new topic on this so it'll get more hits on Google for this forum )
